The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is an adventure tourer motorcycle from Royal Enfield. It was launched in 2022 and has since been discontinued (production ended around 2025). Mechiee still services it at your doorstep. Adventure bikes are built to travel long distances on good and bad roads alike, typically with long-travel suspension and an upright riding position. With a 411 cc engine it sits in the 250–450 cc class.
Power comes from a 411 cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that makes 24.31 PS at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 250 rpm. Peak torque arrives low in the rev range, at 250 rpm, which makes it relaxed to ride in traffic. Its stroke is longer than its bore (78 mm x 86 mm), a long-stroke layout that generally favours low-down pulling power. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 131 PS per tonne; by that measure, it is lively, with easy overtakes and relaxed highway speeds. The claimed top speed is 130 km/h. It has electric start.
It has a 5-speed manual gearbox with a 1-down, 4-up shift pattern, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel. It uses a wet multi-plate clutch.
It is built around a Half-Duplex split cradle frame. Suspension is by telescopic, 41 mm forks 190 mm travel at the front and monoshock with linkage, V180 mm wheel travel at the rear. Braking is by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. ABS on both wheels keeps either tyre from locking under hard braking. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels — 100/90 -19 at the front and 120/90 - 17 at the rear.
The seat is 795 mm off the ground, which is about average and suits most riders. It weighs 185 kg ready to ride, which is on the heavy side, so moving it by hand takes some effort. Ground clearance is 200 mm — plenty for broken roads and tall speed breakers. It is 2,160 mm long, with 1,455 mm between the axles. Its 15 L fuel tank and claimed mileage of 33.3 kmpl work out to roughly 499 km per tankful on paper; real-world range is usually lower.
Equipment includes an analogue and digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, gear position indicator, daytime running lamps and low battery indicator.
