The Royal Enfield Thunderbird X 350 is a motorcycle from Royal Enfield. It has been discontinued. Mechiee still services it at your doorstep. With a 346 cc engine it sits in the 250–450 cc class.
Power comes from a 346 cc single-cylinder air-cooled carburetted engine that makes 19.8 HP at 5,600 rpm and 28.0 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Peak torque arrives low in the rev range, at 4,000 rpm, which makes it relaxed to ride in traffic. Its stroke is longer than its bore (70.0 x 90.0 mm), a long-stroke layout that generally favours low-down pulling power. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 103 PS per tonne; by that measure, there is enough go for confident city riding and relaxed highway cruising. The claimed top speed is 120 km/h. It has both electric and kick start.
It has a 5-speed manual gearbox, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel. It uses a wet multi-plate clutch.
Its frame is single downtube, using engine as stressed member. At the front, the suspension is telescopic with hydraulic damping, 41 mm, 130mm travel forks. At the rear, it is swing arm with gas shock absorbers, 80mm travel. Braking is by a 280 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. It rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear cast, 9-spoke wheels — 90/90-19 at the front and 120/80-18 at the rear.
The seat is 775 mm off the ground, which is low and makes it easy to put your feet down. It weighs 195 kg ready to ride, which is on the heavy side, so moving it by hand takes some effort. Ground clearance is 135 mm — low, so take speed breakers and steep ramps slowly. It is 2,040 mm long, with 1,350 mm between the axles. It carries 20 L of fuel.
Equipment includes a halogen headlamp.

Its low seat also makes it approachable for shorter and newer riders.
Its chain drive needs regular cleaning, lubrication and slack adjustment. Being carburetted, it benefits from an occasional carburettor clean, especially if it has stood unused.
