The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a roadster motorcycle from Royal Enfield. It is currently on sale. Naked and roadster bikes pair a lively engine with an upright riding position and little or no fairing, which makes them easy to live with every day. With a 349 cc engine it sits in the 250–450 cc class.
Power comes from a 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled fuel-injected engine that makes 20.21 PS at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Peak torque arrives low in the rev range, at 4,000 rpm, which makes it relaxed to ride in traffic. Its stroke is longer than its bore (72 mm x 85.8 mm), a long-stroke layout that generally favours low-down pulling power. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 104 PS per tonne; by that measure, there is enough go for confident city riding and relaxed highway cruising. The claimed top speed is 110 km/h. It has electric start.
It has a 5-speed manual gearbox with a 1-down, 4-up shift pattern, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel. It uses a wet multi-plate clutch.
It is built around a twin downtube spine frame. At the front, the suspension is telescopic, 41 mm forks, wheel travel - 130 mm. At the rear, it is twin tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-Step adjustable preload. Braking is by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 153 mm drum at the rear, with single-channel ABS. Single-channel ABS works on the front wheel, which does most of the stopping. It rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels — 100/90-19 at the front and 120/80-18 at the rear.
The seat is 805 mm off the ground, which is about average and suits most riders. It weighs 195 kg ready to ride, which is on the heavy side, so moving it by hand takes some effort. Ground clearance is 160 mm — enough for most speed breakers. It is 2,110 mm long, with 1,390 mm between the axles. Its 13 L fuel tank and claimed mileage of 35-40 kmpl work out to roughly 520 km per tankful on paper; real-world range is usually lower.
Equipment includes an analogue and digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, USB charging port, gear position indicator and service due indicator. Safety equipment includes side-stand warning, engine kill switch, hazard light switch, low fuel indicator and malfunction indicator.
The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years or 30,000 km. For the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Mechiee offers a fixed ₹2,199 doorstep service.
It is best suited to riders who want performance with an upright, everyday-friendly posture.
Its chain drive needs regular cleaning, lubrication and slack adjustment.
