The Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST is a motorcycle from Harley-Davidson. It is currently on sale. With a 1,923 cc engine it sits in the big-bike, 800 cc-plus class.
Power comes from a 1,923 cc fuel-injected engine that makes 114 HP / 85 kW at 5,020 rpm and 173 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Peak torque arrives low in the rev range, at 4,000 rpm, which makes it relaxed to ride in traffic. Its stroke is longer than its bore (103.5 mm x 114.3 mm), a long-stroke layout that generally favours low-down pulling power. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 358 PS per tonne; by that measure, it is genuinely fast, well beyond everyday traffic speeds. It has electric start.
It has a 6-speed manual gearbox, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel.
At the front, the suspension is single cartridge 43 mm inverted fork, aluminum triple clamps, single rate spring. At the rear, it is hidden, free piston, coil-over monoshock, 56 mm stroke, hydraulic preload adjustment. It rides on 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels — 110/90B19, 62H at the front and 180/70B16, 77H at the rear.
The seat is 715 mm off the ground, which is low and makes it easy to put your feet down. It weighs 323 kg ready to ride, which is heavy, so parking and tight U-turns need care. Ground clearance is 145 mm — adequate, though tall speed breakers need care. It is 2,360 mm long, with 1,615 mm between the axles. It carries 18.9 L of fuel.
Equipment includes an LED headlamp.
For the Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST, Mechiee offers a fixed ₹12,999 doorstep service.
Its low seat also makes it approachable for shorter and newer riders. With this much performance, it is better as a step-up bike than a first bike.
Its chain drive needs regular cleaning, lubrication and slack adjustment.
