The Yezdi Adventure is an adventure tourer motorcycle from Yezdi. It was launched in 2022 and is still on sale. Adventure bikes are built to travel long distances on good and bad roads alike, typically with long-travel suspension and an upright riding position. With a 334 cc engine it sits in the 250–450 cc class.
Power comes from a 334 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that makes 29.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 29.8 Nm of torque at 5,800 rpm. Its bore is wider than its stroke (81 mm x 65 mm), a short-stroke layout that generally favours higher revs. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 158 PS per tonne; by that measure, it is lively, with easy overtakes and relaxed highway speeds. The claimed top speed is 140 km/h. It has electric start.
It has a 6-speed manual gearbox with a 1-down, 5-up shift pattern, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel. Its slipper clutch lightens the lever and stops the rear wheel hopping when you downshift hard.
It is built around a double cradle frame. Suspension is by telescopic forks, ø 41 mm at the front and mono shock absorber with linkage & 7-step adjustable Pre-Load at the rear. Braking is by a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. ABS on both wheels keeps either tyre from locking under hard braking. It rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels — 90/90-21 at the front and 130/80-17 at the rear.
The seat is 815 mm off the ground, which is about average and suits most riders. It weighs 187 kg ready to ride, which is on the heavy side, so moving it by hand takes some effort. Ground clearance is 220 mm — plenty for broken roads and tall speed breakers. It is 2,180 mm long, with 1,465 mm between the axles. Its 15.5 L fuel tank and claimed mileage of 30-33.07 kmpl work out to roughly 513 km per tankful on paper; real-world range is usually lower.
Equipment includes a digital instrument console, an LED headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging port, call and SMS alerts, distance-to-empty readout, gear position indicator, daytime running lamps and service due indicator, among others. Safety equipment includes side-stand warning, engine kill switch, low fuel indicator, malfunction indicator and low oil indicator. It has three riding modes: Rain, Road and Off-Road.
The manufacturer's warranty is 50,000 km or 4 years. It comes with 4 free services, the first due at 1000 km or 30 days. For the Yezdi Adventure, Mechiee offers a fixed ₹2,999 doorstep service.
It is best suited to long-distance touring and roads of mixed quality.
Recommended tyre pressures are 29 psi front and 32 psi rear riding alone, and 29 psi front and 34 psi rear with a pillion. The published service intervals are 1st service at 1000 km or 30 days, 2nd service at 6000 km or 180 days, 3rd service at 12000 km or 365 days and 4th service at 18000 km or 540 days. Its chain drive needs regular cleaning, lubrication and slack adjustment.
