The Honda CB350RS is a roadster motorcycle from Honda. It was launched in 2021 and is still on sale. Naked and roadster bikes pair a lively engine with an upright riding position and little or no fairing, which makes them easy to live with every day. With a 348.4 cc engine it sits in the 250–450 cc class.
Power comes from a 348.4 cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that makes 21.07 PS at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Peak torque arrives low in the rev range, at 3,000 rpm, which makes it relaxed to ride in traffic. Its stroke is longer than its bore (70 mm x 90.5 mm), a long-stroke layout that generally favours low-down pulling power. Divide power by kerb weight and it has about 117 PS per tonne; by that measure, there is enough go for confident city riding and relaxed highway cruising. The claimed top speed is 150 km/h. It has electric start.
It has a 8-speed manual gearbox with a 1-down, 4-up shift pattern, and a chain carries drive to the rear wheel.
It is built around a half duplex cradle frame. Suspension is by telescopic forks at the front and twin hydraulic rear suspension at the rear. Braking is by a 310 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. ABS on both wheels keeps either tyre from locking under hard braking. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tyres — 100/90-19 at the front and 150/70-17 at the rear.
The seat is 800 mm off the ground, which is about average and suits most riders. It weighs 180 kg ready to ride, which is on the heavy side, so moving it by hand takes some effort. Ground clearance is 168 mm — enough for most speed breakers. It is 2,171 mm long, with 1,441 mm between the axles. Its 15 L fuel tank and claimed mileage of 35 kmpl work out to roughly 525 km per tankful on paper; real-world range is usually lower.
Equipment includes an analogue and digital instrument console, an LED headlamp, Bluetooth connectivity and navigation (optional), voice assist, USB charging port (optional), saree guard, DRLs (daytime running lights) and pass light. Safety equipment includes traction control and side stand engine cut-off.
The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years or 42,000 km. For the Honda CB350RS, Mechiee offers a fixed ₹2,199 doorstep service.
It is best suited to riders who want performance with an upright, everyday-friendly posture.
Its chain drive needs regular cleaning, lubrication and slack adjustment.
